So I went outside today in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
That's really how my story should have began. But it didn't. Today, I went outside in a twill peacoat blazer with my hoodie on. It's the middle of April and it was pouring rain. When I finally got to my classroom and put my hand on the doorknob, I thought the next apocalypse was coming. The rain had tripled its velocity and the wind was howling.
By the way, I live in California.
It was 71 degrees the day before.
